The market cap of SYA hasn't halved. Only the share price has halved.
The market of SYA at 16.5c today is higher than the market cap of SYA when it was at 16.5c last year because they issued a lot of shares in capital raises since then. So the company is getting bigger in market cap because there are more shares outstanding, but a shareholder who bought at 16.5c last year is not any richer today despite the company size growing in market cap due to more shares on issue.
