    100% correct - I also purchased in the '90s and regard myself as damn lucky - simple as that. I can't stand when those of my generation and older (Boomers) jerk off about what property geniuses and investment gurus they are, when it simply came down to the luck of when you were born.

    The fact is that before the turn of the millennium it was piss-easy to get on the property ladder - It doesnt matter if rates were (briefly) 17%, as that was on a 150K house - The key is the ratios of house price to income - Back then it was just were 3:1 while now we are approaching 20:1.

    Being a smug prick and saying Millennials are at fault because of Avo-Toast and iPhones just shows how out of touch you are with reality. The reality is that our generation got generous perks (from the governments we elected) and an easy ride, and we are the cause of this mega bubble.

    Sorry to deviate from Sayona and the incredible buy opportunity now available, but this had to be said.
