Vulcan announcement this morning-
Aligned with Vulcan’s mission to decarbonise and electrify transportation, Stellantis has one of the
largest electrification and decarbonisation plans of any automaker globally, reaching 100% of
passenger car battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales mix in Europe by 2030. In addition, Stellantis also
increased planned battery capacity by 140 GWh to approximately 400 GWh, to be supported by five
battery manufacturing plants in Europe and North America, together with additional supply
contracts.
So, Europe fleet FULLY electric by 2030
AND
Battery requirements have increased from 140 to 400Gwh with battery plants in Nth America.
Stellantis include Chrysler and Dodge in Nth America, including the mighty Dodger Ram, WHICH MAY AFFECT SAYONA.
WHERE WILL AL THIS LITHIUM COME FROM???
Really makes Goldman's claims look ridiculous, if you didnt already think so...
Tesla, Volvo, Rover cars, Jaguar,etc..etc... ALL fully electric by 2025- 2030, as well as GM,Ford,Toyota,Honda, Stellantis, Peugeot/Nissan, BMW, Mercedes, VW, accelerating plans to the electrification of their fleets.
Add in home and commercial power storage, as well as grid stabilisation storage, such as in south Australia, and there's NO WAY we will see enough supply in the next 5 year...., maybe 7 .
