PLL are SYA shareholders (just like us), the company (SYA) raised capital (cash) by selling shares to PLL and providing an offtake agreement. The cash capital ($190M AUD), recently raised, is what is owned by the company (SYA)...the proportion of capital being allocated to the NAL restart is the proportion of the SYA umbrella of entities attributable or equivalent to SYA(Quebec) - the entity in which PLL has its 25% ownership. Taken over the whole umbrella of SYA entities, this PLL ownership currently dilutes or is reduced to about 16 to17% (give or take). As shareholders, we don't contribute to the NAL start-up costs according to the proportion of shares we hold....neither does PLL (as shareholder).
