ABSTRACT JOB SPECIFICATION POSITION TITLE: PRINCIPAL ENGINEER The Principal Engineer oversees and develops the mine's drill blast and survey team. He is responsible for designing, planning and approving the plans and specifications required for mining operations and the production schedule. He ensures compliance with costs and deadlines, while having a behavior oriented towards health and safety, the environment and sustainable development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Set up the production team for the restart of the first lithium mine in North America
▪ Coordinate all drilling blasting activities, short-term planning and also geotechnics as needed during the restart of the mine
▪ Supervise the team of technicians, evaluate their performance and see to the development of employees
▪ Verify and approve drilling blasting plans and specifications and improve practices
▪ Make site visits and inspections to validate the execution of the work
▪ Facilitate meetings with workers to discuss and improve our practices and standards
▪ Ensure the follow-up of the daily, weekly and monthly planning in order to meet the objectives
▪ Improve our results through innovation and continuous improvement and contribute to cost reduction
▪ Solve problems related to mining engineering activities and make recommendations
▪ Complete month-end reports and other deliverables according to requests and projects
▪ Contribute to establishing best practices in health and safety and the environment
▪ Maintain a solid partnership with the contractors and consultants involved on the site
▪ Maintain a high level of skills in the department through training and mentoring
▪ Ensure the management of technical documentation ▪ All other tasks related to the performance of his duties

JOB SPECIFICATION REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Bachelor's degree in mining engineering
▪ Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
▪ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including 2 with supervision of personnel
▪ Experience in open pit mining
▪ Hold a valid general explosives permit
▪ Mastery of Deswik and MS Office software
▪ Bilingualism an asset
