Yes mate - that's what happens when people get greedy and decide to try their hand at shorting the market - most go arse-up in the first twelve months. The smart one's cut their losses and learn a valuable lesson - the not so smart ones and those with ultra-egos start borrowing and continue to lose cash. Pretty soon loan repayments fall behind so they borrow more to pay-off previous loans while paying exorbitant interest rates. It's a house of cards situation that usually finishes in tears mental breakdown and bankruptcy. Before long the situation becomes desperate, the lies and the cover-up starts, then in a last ditch effort they start abusing long term holders and especially those who promote a rising market on social media sites like this one. An extended rising market is the shorts worst enemy.

Looks like we've been hoodwinked by people we respected - anyway it's not the first time and won't be the last.
