This video gives a decent overview of Lithium, but starting at about the 18 minute mark they show the amount of shipping involved in today's lithium supply chain. This is why I believe Quebec has been laser focused on doing all of this in their country. From Lithium / Cobalt and Nickel mines in Canada to processing plants in Canada to anode manufacturers in Canada, to battery plants to car assembly.
