Unless Quebec can show that it really is open for business when it comes to the ' extraction ' side of the upstream resources side of it , and until Sayona can demonstrate to the market it has the ' Wherewithal ' , as Lynch himself stated , then it is just still a ' Dream ' in the context of what you stated.
You yourself are arguing that the next 4 to 6 weeks are critical in getting the message across. What about the last 6 years mate. Why has it taken Critical Elements so long to just obtain the mining approvals. They haven't produced anything yet. Nor has James Bay......, or Whabouchi.
The one observation I would make on your 4 - 6 weeks out is that overall , we haven't spent ALL that much of the capital raised and at the same time are still pending receipt of PLL share of the costs.
So being 4 - 6 weeks out from potentially pressing the buttons on the previously producing plant in my mind means they are being ultra conservative in their approach but at the same time sitting on 352,784,000 ( including Acuity ATM facility ) in available funds.
However the Questions still are : - Why has it taken even longer than NAL for Nemaska which effectively was out of administration an entire year before NAL , but as yet is not even in a position to resume production of spodumene as it had already done previously.
Why has it taken Troilus Gold the better part of 3 - 4 years to advance its own equivalent PFS to a DFS on an ALREADY previously producing Gold / Copper project which is only a stones throw away from our Moblan. Still hasn't resumed production.
So if the Government ( Quebec ) was all ' Gung Ho ' about finding more lithium resources in their lithium rich province , why can't we get our drill bits turning again at Tansim in order to prove up another significant discovery , or why haven't we been able to finally receive our social license to quarry Authier ore , and why has it taken more than you average time to go through this process.
Or even why hasn't Sayona been able to report to the market after almost 12 months the 3 remaining drill results that were completed last December and no doubt submitted at the same time with all the rest of the drill holes.
We all know why though right .... And these are just some of the issues which put the ' Wherewithal ' attributes of the NAL project squarely back to the ' Dream ' bucket until proven or stated otherwise by BOTH Quebec and our Management.
And mate , the shorts have absolutely no effect on those Investors who know what they are doing or how to invest for the BIG money gains. The shorts as you say are NOT the one holding us back - because any smart investor CAN be left in the dark and in fact just like your eyes do by adjusting to this sort of environment , so too does an Investor know how to traverse through the darkness when it comes.
And a lot of that is to do with backing yourself on the available information . And that means the negative as well as positive hurdles and milestones. Knowing and being aware of the negatives helps you understand the reasoning's in part as to what to expect and when to press the go buttons when the ' expected ' information arrives and your research is validated.
