The Chinese only have investments in South America LAC not LAC Thacker Pass Nevada.
I thought initially they were splitting it in 2
because the projects have different timelines and Thacker Pass might not happen.
Thacker Pass is in court in Jan 2023 because of a frog, now an endageared species because of the lack of water, and the last massacre of indigenous people.
Nevada has a big water problem, the water table has dropped meters, the Colorado River which feeds the state is depleting.
New and old Li projects (ALB) in Nevada will need to show reduction in water usage or should I say it is pointing that way for expansion and new mines.
