It’s almost as if they’re itching to say something on the 23rd, but can’t, so they’re like, ‘just wait a week so we can talk up Tesla but we don’t look too suspicious about it’. Maybe I’m post-rationalising, but it sounds logical in context. I work in PR and that’s what I’d do. Mark the deal date in the calendar and put a release out a week later so it doesn’t look too suss,
