They will at some stage have to buy back the shares but they must time it when there is high volume so not have a significant impact on the SP. So they too must be waiting for an announcement that increases volume but does have a dramatic affect on the SP. Until that happens do they continue to sell and just dig themselves a larger hole? One thing for sure is these people are good at what they do and are very well informed and so they win more times than not otherwise they wouldn't be doing it and the lenders wouldn't lend to them if there was a high risk.
