In the operating phase, a mine tailings accumulation area, which will also be used forwaste rock deposition (co-disposition), two waste rock accumulation areas, fiveoverburden storage areas and two ore storage areas are anticipated (production andlow grade). The plant will be in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for anestimated life cycle of 15 years.From my understanding, current battery grade for lithium carbonate is still 99.5%. So the original product from NAL, if made to their planned spec, still qualifies, which as you saw had already been produced there.

Having said that, in 2010, when they were testing NAL's ore, the pilot plant made 99.9% carbonate.

Canada Lithium (TSX:CLQ, PINK:CLQMF) announced today that pilot plant flotation, roasting and hydrometallurgical processing have been completed.

The latest test samples produced a product grading 99.9% lithium carbonate. The samples will be shipped to potential customers in Asia, Europe, and North America for further testing against specification standards on end products, such as lithium-ion batteries.
