@cmonaussie, with the improvements made to the concentration circuit, we should see much higher recovery rates from the original flowsheet.

Likewise in the refining circuit.

Those old original figures are just a base case to work off.

PLL and SYA, spent US$80 million on the concentrator upgrades.

These were not just theoretical, but based on previous production issues at NAL. Real world data.
These improvements should see our recovery rate increase anywhere from mid 70's to mid 80's%

The refining circuit should be around 90%

So a modern flowsheet, is probably a better reference.

Probably a good idea to reference your own post of a modern flowsheet, such those stated in PLL's BFS.




Metso is claiming 195000 will make 30,000 LiOH, so 6.5 ratio, an efficient modern flowsheet.

226kt at NAL, could translate to 34769 LiOH, if the Metso technique is used, of which PLL is well versed with.
PLL, the JV partner....

There are of course other converters, promising similar figures with their proprietary techniques.

So, I definitely see a possibility where SYAQ could eventually generate 226kt SC6, and from that,
convert to around 30kt LiOH, possibly more...

A lot is then dependant on which way they decide to go with the refining, and what deals SYAQ is currently crunching.

Most of these answers should be answered this quarter.
