I am new to this forum, but I have enjoyed reading interesting things over the last few months. Can someone explain how Sayona management come about to agreeing such a lopsided deal with Piedmont? Accepting Sayona got downside protection with a floor of $500/ton, but agreeing to a ceiling of $900/ton with no attempt to share the upside of a potential price swing beyond $900 sounds rather naive. Does anyone feel the same way I feel that Piedmont took Sayona to the cleaners.
