Sell more units/cars does not change cost or production.
I just want to make a point here.
The batteries are part of the EV and are not sold separately. So, the materials that go into the making are part of the cost of production of EV.
So if EV prices drop so has to be the case with batteries and battery grade material.
And, I think you yourself have answered the question.
