You really don't seem to understand how supply and demand works tbh. I clearly explained this point a few days ago to you... If the number of EVs sold increases due to more competitive pricing then the demand for the components that make the EVs (i.e. lithium) will also obviously increase. They are not tied or linked in price - car makers need to buy components just like anyone else in order to build their vehicles.

In general when demand for something increases, but the supply of it remains the same, then the price of that thing will increase. In this case the 'thing' is lithium, the demand is from EV car makers, and the supply is from the lithium miners (us).

It's literally the fundamental principle of economics. Not sure what else can be said here; your argument is flawed as others have now also stated.
