I think some are trying to find any reasoning they can and trying to read far too much into what is going on.
SYA has a lot of SOI so it's always going to be a target for day traders (which includes shorters) as it's very easy to trade the pips throughout the day. Sure, you can ask the questions and go searching for a reason, but sometimes it's just as simple as that
