It's not a popular view - it's what would happen if they jointly agree to start the refinery. If the refinery goes ahead, the only thing that changes the current setup is if PLL sell their share of SYAQ and get out of it (whether SYA or someone else buys them out).
If PLL decide not to proceed to a refinery, and SYA go it alone - then PLL won't get anything from the refinery profits as they won't have anything to do with it.
We can then only assume the spod production at NAL continues under the terms of the offtake.
And regardless of what happens, SYA can't answer your question as to what PLL are going to do.
