Montreal, February 16, 2023 – The Sayona team is pleased to announce the arrival of Michel Parent as Vice President of Sales and Marketing . With nearly 25 years of experience in the battery industry, Mr. Parent has solid expertise in sales and customer service management. There is no doubt that his knowledge and skills will contribute to the success of Sayona's various growth projects over the next few years. Until recently, Mr. Parent held the position of Life Series Electrochemistry Specialist at Blue Solutions Canada . He previously worked as director of sales and marketing for North America and France and director of customer service atJohnson Matthey Battery Material, Clarient Canada and Phostech Lithium. His extensive managerial experience and his knowledge of the battery industry make Mr. Parent an undeniable asset for Sayona, where he will be responsible for all activities related to sales, marketing and business development for the company. He will also be responsible for implementing strategic plans, action plans and issuing the best recommendations in his sector in order to contribute to the growth of the company.

Holder of a master's degree in electrochemistry from the University of Sherbrooke, Mr. Parent took up his duties on February 14.
