    Yes i understand. but im starting to understand the gains for those "lending" the stock as well and see the reason why we may be so popular to short. Not just the the borrower but the lender too. if its attractive to both parties then no wonder why?

    Note the bottom quote in the second snip. "Those who are speculating on the outlook of the price..."
