I wouldn't say this could be the only variable influencing the rally, they've got their own seperate fundamentals. instead I'd use this as a perfect example of the dangers of shorting and how we will undoubtedly see the closing of short positions across other EV stocks in the coming week.

The shorts are either preemptively closing out of their positions or instos are buying up big time and shorters are frantically trying to close out their positions simultaneously. Either way this shift of sentiment should see a flow on effect to other near term producers or current producers of REM's.
