SAYONA ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF SÉBASTIEN BOIVIN AS GENERAL MANAGER OF THE NORTH AMERICA LITHIUM COMPLEX

La Motte, February 28, 2023– Chief Executive Officer Guy Belleau of Sayona, Quebec is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Sébastien Boivin as General Manager of the North America Lithium Complex.Sébastien had held the position of plant optimization director since December 2022.

With 28 years of experience in the mining industry, Mr. Boivin most recently held the position of Vice-President – General Manager at Niobec Inc, one of the world's leading niobium producers. .He previously held the positions of General Superintendent of Operations and Director of Operations within this same company, before his appointment to general management in 2018. An experienced manager, Mr. Boivin's expertise will be put to good use at the LAN Complex, where he will be responsible for implementing Sayona's major directions and ensuring that the Complex becomes a model of success in the global lithium industry.
