And he would be in good company folks because it was back in 1993 when the Habs last Won the prestigious Lord Stanley's Cup that a French Canadian born Defenseman named Eric Desjardins. And get this folks ..... he was Born in Rouyn-Noranda on 14th June 1969. So not only is Rouyn-Noranda a famous Quebec Mining HUB not all that far away from NAL's La Corne mine , the 14th June is also the date in June 2021 that Raymond Chabot signed off its last Court Documentation and Stay requests which will now be heard by the Court this coming Monday on the 28th June.

There is also the fact that his surname Desjardins correlates exactly to the same Business name as Desjardins Capital Markets who also have acted as the Financial Advisors in Sayona's NAL acquisition.

So like I said , he Lynch is in very good company now with sharing this honor as Eric Desjardins is a bit of a legend with the Habs because he is the only ever Defensemen to have scored a ' Hat Trick ' in that 1993 final series Game 2. 3 - 2 win against L.A Kings where it is perhaps fitting that he scored his 3rd Goal off the infamous ' Illegal Stick ' penalty call against LA's Marty McSorley. Ha ha ....McSorley...lol compared to ' McSorlosers ' from the NAL challengers.....

Anyway, as it happens Eric Desjardins went on to be one of the best defenseman in the NHL over the next 10 years..... even after he left the Montreal Club.

Lets hope Lynch enjoys a similar 10 year stint and forever wearing the famous Bleu , Blanc , et Rouge No. 28.....
