I think they (the Canadian government) could do better in just pulling their flinger out and process mining licenses a lot quicker. They are good at courting EV and battery manufacturers with the attraction an abundance of raw material and hydro power but where are said manufacturers going to get their raw materials from when it takes around 10 years to build a mine and a lot of that time is taken up with red tape.
