I think Elon Musk's comments together with the current reducing Carbonate/Hydroxide/Spod prices are impacting sentiment. A few Lithium stocks are down today on a green day.
So I guess everyone needs to ask themselves if they believe Lithium prices/supply/profitability are going up or down over the long term and invest accordingly.
Short term ups and downs are to be expected.
Do you believe that the Lithium demand will dwindle/be met by oncoming new mines? If you listen to bankers, you may think so. Or do you believe that it's going to be much harder than anticipated for new mines to come on, which together with growing demand should keep a supply deficit toward 2030 and support pricing? If you listen to Lithium industry commentators, you may think so.
