The deal Ford struck with LTR is for 5 years. We know how much funding Ford is providing but we don't know how much the spodumene will be sold to Ford for. I presume if they are providing $'s up front they will be asking for a heavily discounted rate on spod.
In our case we likely have only 2 years (or less) of spod to deal, unless they want to partake in a carbonate off-take as well. Because the PLL deal is already discounted I would think they would not want to give up too much on the remaining or we would not have sufficient cash flow for operations.
It's a delicate balance which I think will take a combination of Canadian government funding, tax credits and OTA or JV partner funding to achieve. I do have faith that the management team is weighing all of these issues and will find a balance that keeps money in share holders pockets while also funding all of the new projects that are coming.
