I think the transition will happen quicker than we think. Once business like Wilsons, Bunnings, Westfields, Woolies, Coles and the like see revenue opportunities by installing charging stations, CONVENIENCE will be a major consideration to buy an EV. Then there's the solid state battery, that's as quick as going to the petrol station to fill up and a bit safer too. The petrol station will end up similar to what's happening to the disappearing banks and be prepared to pay thru the nose for this flammable, hard to get liquid at an out of the way petrol station. Then you'll have the manufacturers making a commercial decsion to produce just EVs, as regulations and populations get greener.
