there are minuscule open short position on SYA though

current overnight open short is 0.5%

if you are referencing shortman that is showing total number of shorted shares but taking account of traders closing the position.

ie if I traded 1,000,000 Sya shares 8 times ie opened than closed, then opened than closed positions today shortman will state I shorted 8,000,000 shares but in reality over night I have zero short.

shortman data is accurate and asx number are accurate but they are statistically totally different things
