It's been discussed here before, but SYA probably aren't a great takeover target.
Their relationship/partnership with the government and deals that were made around NAL, plus their biggest assets are tied up in JV's - doesn't look great for someone like Albemarle.
Ultimately, it also doesn't matter too much. LTR will get their regardless of whether buyout offers have been made. The only thing they assist is the immediate re-rate of the SP.
