Fair point mate But you would have to also consider GM and Ford are still in the Rustbelt Area of the USA and logistics would be easy to rail or truck, carbonate or hydroxide to their factories. When Biden intially announced the Inflation Reduction Act (2022) the tax credit fine print was favourable to reinvigorate the US Automobile Industry which has a long history of being in or near Detroit. I did run a search of who was still left in that area and it was surprising that most of the manufacturing is still there in bits and pieces. It really is not that far NAL to Michigan or Ohio.I personally hope it is one of the majors as they have large sums backed by govt initiatives to make the transition. And need to desperately close the gap now that Tesla has had a fairly large headstart.
