My guess is they’ll use the NAL DFS price of sc6 - $1352 and around $26k for carbonate which will demonstrate profitability for SYQ going downstream. The refined product could be sold at a premium relative to China given the amount and cost of the product per car far outweighed by the savings for consumers from measures such as IRA. In other words a favourable refined product price to sc6 price could be justified.
