Yes, winter is over, but: winter lasted very long this year. We only were able to sit in the garden and have barbecue last weekend. In the years before we did first barbecue during April.... And today temperature is decreasing to 21°C and tomorrow we shall have 15°C max. ( and in the night only 5°C)
During the last 6 month we have had a lot of rain in Germany and nearly all dams have a level of >60/75%. Saving energy was a necessary duty for 90% of Germans due to the high prices for electricity, gas and oil. ( only the 10% of the wealthiest could afford prices up to over 1,80€/l for heating oil). So we froze even at 19° and sweaters. ( problem of all old people )
