    The PG interview shows us another important point: Building a hydroxide plant in the U.S. costs a lot of investment and time, but you need a network for distribution and you need a lot of expertise to meet your customers' goals. Before the hydroxide manufacturer can obtain a status for testing and approvals, you have to acquire know-how yourself. I already wrote here 2 years ago that the time needed to acquire the company's own know-how alone is at least 1 year. Production takes place during this time, but no money is earned. Production is used to train employees in production, the laboratories and testing facilities and the commercial departments. Coordination with customers only comes afterwards. I can only hope that the shareholders of PLL are now taking into account this previously uncommunicated time and the money that will be burned.For SYA, I hope that the management is wise enough to give priority to the construction of a carbonate plant. The money earned there will make it easier to finance the next step, the hydroxide plant, as this will be financed from the company's own resources.
