I am aware of the interim CEO, who likely more as a behind-the-scenes execution guy and SYA has certainly faced executional setbacks, but the most significant impact has come from farm gate pricing.
The Van Halen brothers were exceptional musicians, with Eddie being one of the greatest guitarists ever, but they required the showmanship of Diamond David Lee Roth as their lead singer. In a similar vein, Diamond Dave wouldn't be successful if nobody liked the music coming from behind him. Likewise, SYA needs a CEO who can 'sell' the company's vision, achievements, and future as effectively as ensuring the 'music' of effective mining execution is finally delivered.
Hope SYA can attract a vibrant CEO who can roadshow and "sell" the idea of SYA to future shareholders and Canada gov officials etc.
