A stone true, but for life of mine, with the right management in place no.

We should be able to get a partially built carb plant up and running by 2027, 2028 the latest, surely.
Especially when we are producing now and both PLL and SYA chip into SYAQ production costs.
Surely as a 9%ish holder of SYA, PLL will also want growth in SYA on its own for the benefit of there own holding. An also the 25% share they have of the JV assets.
Hence why its in PLLs best interest to also move NAL along to downstream long term to.
The marginal profit that is achieved under a carb vs spod combination will be more than simply spod to PLL at 50%.
As such the investment in a second concentrator and to produces as much Carb as possible to be put through JV coffers at 25%/75% in SYAs favour while also running spod through at first 50% PLL will achieve a far better outcome for both companies.

The above in conjunction with downstream processing per what the government also wants makes sense that, this is the next step.

As for your comment on BOD offering one of there own. One would hope that should the person not be up to task and has simply been gifted a spot that many retail will be up in arms over said decision, so IMO I just dont see that happening.
