range and charging ability on the road are the big drawbacks for potential buyers in the US. no one wants on a long drive, which so many Americans do, try to find an open charging station like a gas pump but then have to wait and wait for the recharge. thats why we are seeing more hybrids selling here. you get that range up and a nationwide charging system, you will see EV purchases shoot up. going to be an up hill battle here for awhile. towing is terrible in current models and the US loves their pickups! advances will happen just still a few years away i believe on that front. local commuting is about it right now and only if you have another ice vehicle for longer drives. sounds like BYD has alternatives that address range. others should follow suit. patience. though we may get bought out before we really see Sayona SP start to reach its potential since we are laboring under cash restraints. jmho
