tactic is such - goal to buy as low as possible. sell bot shares keeping market price low, buy at one pip higher when there is enough (offscreen) supply at that level. result - buy 10x more than is sold = accumulate. if bot wasn't there, there price may be higher, but it may be the same BUT the retail volume on and off screen would be higher allowing them to execute the trade because of less frustration.

or else their buy level not reached yet and the goal is to frustrate retail to selling at lower level than they otherwise would, and then the bot just moves down and does the same thing. Its all about off screen availability.

reverse is true for distribution.
