Big regulatory changes underway for SPACs at the moment, throwing a spanner in the works for many. Quite a few already established SPACs have had to delay the release of earnings (10-K filings for last year etc) while they work through the changes to how accounting rules are applied, especially in relation to warrants held by the pre-merger members of SPACs (i.e. SPAC founders) - in many cases leading to the re-statement of financials and corresponding delays in doing so. It has been a bit of the wild wild West up to this point.
