Your interpretation of what is likely happening emphasises, to me, how the psychology of the market is certainly manipulated by the big fish to weed out the small shareholders, the disillusioned traders, the holders who have lost faith, and many other categories of people who hold shares for whatever reason. Yes, the big picture is orchestated, to a large degree, by the large investors, so you are perfectly correct to say that in the long scheme of things, this week will be irrelevant, other than in history it will be remembered as the week we signed Tesla.
