I did a deep dive into the KZR to DEG recent sale as it didnt make much sense. $20/ox in ground (1.65mill ounces for 30 mill bucks). Went through a few hands over time.

Effectivelty an refractory orebody that is too expensive for a standalone operation to be financed for a junior. Too small for a major (NST) to build a standalone plant.

DEG will have the refractory mill anyways for their 10moz Hemi - only mob in truckable distance, so they get it for nothing as its not any use to anyone else.

Goes to show all ounces arnt the same.

GBR is very very lucky on Sidewell. Lots of mills, cheap to mine. Musgrave sale remains the analougue IMO.
