I suggest you don't take any analyst seriously that is not up to date with the current state of a company.
that is if you should take them serious at all....
they would have to have a proven history of accurate calls and not hiding in anonymity moving from one failed call to the next.
it is sometimes worth listening just to pick up information you may not have known and then you can fact check it...but don't take their opinion / analysis as fact, make up your own mind.
