I've long wondered why Mayne Pharma should maintain the expense of a Melbourne HO when the company could save a bunch of money by consolidating corporate functions to its South Australian manufacturing plant.
I have since observed that the old brown building on the corner of their premises has undergone an external refresh.
Mayne Pharma's listed Melbourne address is Level 1, 99 King Street. A search led me to the below website that is advertising two level 1 premises for lease. I'm speculating, but this suggests to me that Mayne Pharma could be giving up its tenancy; potentially taking up a WFH arrangement for staff or for shifting those functions to South Australia. If the former is correct, we would be saving a pretty penny on the lease. If the latter is correct, we may also see some relocation costs, or payouts for those not prepared to shift.
Of course, it's highly likely that I'm wrong and that the Melbourne office is simply being relocated elsewhere.
