Bravo Beton, great post and I know you were there, watching it all unfold at the time. I have no doubt that as you described is exactly how it all came to being. I think it was EMH, that really ticked him off. His gloves have been off since then.

My suspicion, is that all was still fine in the beginning, AG was in doing deals with PLS, WA looked to be where it's all at. Happy AG.
Except he decides, well it's a bit hard to market LMax outside of WA as a licensee, when the licensor is also now publicly listed. So likely in agreement with GJ, AG decides to trademark the same product as Sileach to differentiate their service from PLPs, to the market. No harm, no foul. Nothing really wrong with that. Over time he starts alluding that Spodumene might be on the table.

Clearly, in pushing EMH towards a 50:50 JV. EMH, says hmm that's all a bit rich, don't really want to give up half of Cinovec. The deal is off.
AG being the deal maker that he is (I'll give him that the bloke can sell, not sure about the delivery) gets a bit upset. Ego didn't like that and hang on a minute. PLP, instead of potentially losing a great customer. Offer EMH a sensible deal that works for all parties. Not happy!

I think this was the moment AG really set his sights on revenge. Decided, actually Sileach is its own thing, I've been thinking we should throw in some HF, we know that stuff will dissolve everything, including Spodumene, we've got time to sort out the recovery from the HF leaching liquor (the hard bit) later.

Let's one up them and target the entire Spodumene industry (or at least market it that way) and I'll be able to do whatever deals I want, wherever I want.

But now we're nearing the moment of truth, where the market wants to see that your claims have some basis and perhaps that all isn't going well.
Also, those with any smarts have queried the development of the process. Man I can't get a deal done! I'll take it to court to get a declaration that Sileach is different and I can keep my LMax licences to fall back on.

LPD says nah, actually we've had about enough of this, let's counterclaim to set the record straight. You're not doing your bit as our WA agent for LMax.

To a guy like AG (we all know them) the best form of defence is offence.
I'm running out of options, the court case is nearing, Sileach has appalling recoveries, it's not proving up. PLS not real keen anymore. They've committed to a tradition processing route.

The only option left to save face is a TO.
