Fidget spinners are a fad, I'm not sure I see high end mattresses the same way. Its a new feature which is more about product differentiation, no less than the change in sportswear, etc. Textile technology is a growing field and in its early days. In the years to come, features like PCM are likely to be the standard. Recent breakthroughs in fiber materials and manufacturing processes will soon allow us to design and wear fabrics that see, hear, sense, communicate, store and convert energy, regulate temperature, monitor health and change color.
