You don't need to be that harsh on yourself. You placed some reserves of faith/trust in people who are supposed to be good stewards of your capital.
I can take it in good spirit as well, especially because I have only committed a small portion of my capital to this company (which, unfortunately, has become even smaller). That may not be the case for many others, and the company has to take a lot of the blame for that.
