Bumping the general discussions thread back up as constructive topics are being lost in the random threads recently.

First there was Uluu over in WA seemingly close to overtaking NC6 on environmental textile alternatives for clothes.

Now Alt-Leather in VIC has popped up promising a biobased (cellulose) leather alternative for "fashion, footwear, furnishings and automative".

Both are CSIRO-backed, both seem to have private investor and govt-program funding interest, both seem sleek and new and flashy, they reek of hunger and drive. NC6 seems stale and slow in comparison.

The tech page on our website makes no mention of Jelli Grow or the leather alternative. In fact there's no mention of our leather alternative program at all. Jelli Grow gets a 3-sentence summary on its Product page and that's it.

We've got a 3-in-1 company between the tree-free fibres, MicroGel/JelliGrow, and the alt-leather. Why is there no interest from Govt. or large private investors in our potential, when in comparison these other two companies seem to have funding being thrown at them? Are Wayne and the two directors doing nothing to try and bring this money in? I know, I'm saying this off the back of them finally wrapping up the $2.1 million raise with the single investor mopping up the large shortfall, and investment money is tight sector-wide. It just feels like these two energetic companies are being cheered on with local money whilst we struggle to keep our head above water.

Would like it noted that in the Quarterly released in January this year, dot point #2 at the very start, they've written "Transition from R&D to commercialisation supported by $2.1m capital raise". So should we expect to see some major pushes towards advancing our 3 programs over the next 6 months?
