I recently contacted Wayne Best to ask him a few questions about the pandemic's impact on NC6. I was particularly interested in the expected impact on the upcoming CR.
Normally I get a detailed response in a couple of days that leaves me feeling satisfied.
This time, he still got back to me in a couple of days, but the response was a generic one that I assume he is sending any shareholder that enquires about the pandemic.
In short, he said there had been no impacts to date and that supply was still coming form China and Indonesia. However, he did say they were keeping an eye on that and that the pandemic situation was changing rapidly. He didn't give any indication about how he thought the pandemic would affect the upcoming CR but he did say he thought NC6 would weather the storm better than many other companies.
As a result, it is possible that the milestones for the upcoming quarter could still me met:
• Sign supply agreements with 2 to 4 well-known global clothing brands
• Targeting high end European designers and outdoor/active wear brands
Even in a bad climate, with a really tight register, the next three months could be good for the share price.
