Tesla's main driver is
1) Reduce the cost per KWh - They claim a 33% reduction in Lithium costs, no reference to the 'normal' price of lithium and we may very well be even cheaper that what they are referencing. Very much TBC
2) Reduce the emissions of production by reducing unneccessary transport and a cleaner production process - They have us on transport given it's be indicated to be intrinsic to Nevada, as for the process, who knows.
They also haven't said what kind of Lithium deposit (although thats pretty well documented in 'Lithium Valley'), but personally Musk is not someone I would want to be in competition with. Theres also still VW when they ramp, not to mention BASF.
