Hey
@DaveFisherYeah mate, I did sleep through that latest SEC filing. - Registration of Securities on Exchange.
@Relaxed punter from the research that I have done over the last couple months,
this is the second last step in the listing filing process. The next step is the "Notice of Effectiveness".
This last notice has generally appeared via the SEC within one-two-three trading days from this point.
Now the EFFECT notice is generally filed and timestamped 12:15 am on the morning that trading begins.
BUT it is not released until approx 6:00 am USA time - about 10:05 pm - SYD time each trading day.
So it could land tonight at around 10:05 pm or tomorrow night or the night after.
BUT when it is received at 10:05 pm our (SYD) time, thenwe will commence trading approx 3.5hours afterwards at 01:30 am our (SYD) time or 09:30am NASDAQ opening time.No of course there is no need to fuss over the timing of the listing, but this has been on the horizon for some time and has been a keenly watched milestone for a lot of us that probably have too much time on our hands, like me!
And secondly, as
@malkazoid so nicely put it.
It is the centre point of the company's pivot to the GLOBAL stage and quite a significant milestone to indicate that this will be the start of the next series of news releases - which is more significant than the listing itself, I am sure that you will all agree!
GLAH's
Maybe yesterday was our last trading day prior to the listing if a TRADING HALT is called today.
