Yes, CPAP has made no advancement in the last twenty years according to research in their quest to increase penetration above 50%. Despite attempts to educate and incentivise. It is very user unfriendly tech. All of this market is open to IHL...............not to mention reluctant users of products from companies like Resmed and Philips. RMD is a $34 million USD company with a reported ~ 32% share of the user market. (so that is 32% of 50% of potential users - which equates to 16% of the "real" market.) The scope for IHL who can span across the whole market is enormous.

IHL is posing a major risk for these sleep companies as well as a great opportunity - but also for major brand pharma distributors who can enter this lucrative market and disrupt the leaders. Pfizer is on the acquisition path to try and maintain the growth Covid has given them. This is a big game now with high stakes.

The IHL Ann this week is the most significant I have seen for a globally disruptive IP tech. This is a whale of a market.

This is just a matter of time now.............although best not to bet against the possibility of a sleep industry company or pharma distributor making a Phase 2 "Proof of concept" move. Early moving is what large companies do - the longer they wait, the more expensive it becomes for them to own the tech and the higher the risk that a competitor will gain a market share advantage that changes the structure of the industry.

Also, time to be wary of larger players tossing the SP around...........who knows what their strategy is. A very bad time to lose shares at squeezed prices IMO!
